Iverhart - Hookworms

Hookworms attach to the intestinal wall and feed on your dog's blood. This parasite can be lethal to puppies. Hookworm eggs enter the environment through an infected dog's feces and hatch into larvae which live in the soil. Hookworms can infect your dog through the paws, belly or licking (cleaning).

IVERHART Products are well tolerated. All dogs should be tested for heartworm infection before starting a preventive program. In clinical field trials, the most common adverse reactions, vomiting and diarrhea, were rarely observed (1.1% of doses administered). For more information, ask your veterinarian.
